We are still enjoying Hair Springs at our house.
Allow me to share with you the top ten reasons, that actually turned into 21 reasons, why we LOVE our Hair Springs.
1. They are FAST!
2. Kids can do it themselves.
3. They don't rust. Hair Springs are Stainless Steel. . .for you that means that when you leave them on your counter top in your steamy bathroom, they're not going to rust and leave copper stains like those other hair accessories that we do not speak of.
4. Colors! We have sooo many colors and styles! Neon, sparkly, pearl, metallic, crystal and neutral colors. It's IMPOSSIBLE to not match every outfit the girls come up with.
5. Fresh Water Pearls. My personal favorite - I can wear REAL pearls in my hair, there's something about the edginess of the stainless steel juxtaposed with the elegance and uniqueness of the pearl that I just really love.
6. Two Words: Hair Jewels.
7. Hide those looooooong bangs!
I got interrupted. . . my 11 year old is taking over the list now, here are her ideas:
8. They are original fun to use - "Have you ever heard of a spring to put in your hair?"
9. Small size = easy to store.
10. Cuter than bobby pins. . . sorry.
11. The spring is neutral in most hair colors, so all you notice is the BLING!
12. Fun to share and match with your 18" doll.
13. Fun to put them in other peoples hair.
14. Entertaining to use.. "How many other hair accessories can you pull on?" I wonder how many hours my daughter has spent doing that. . .
15. Fun to look at in the mirror.
16. It's awesome that we found bells to put in them.
17.They're Magnetic.. . MAGNETIC!!! Cool, right? Right. You could store them on magnets.
18. Fun for any occasion.
19. They're fun to put on your uncle.
20. They hold back those an-NOY-ing wispy hairs.
21.

Sixty Seconds Sunday Hair
This video shows what happens at our house almost every Sunday morning.
We go to church at 9 and it's hard to get out the door so it's really nice to have something easy and FAST we can do to get hair fixed.

Scary Hair
We've been listening to Jenny Oaks Baker's rock album all morning.
According to the two year old one of the songs is "scary" so the kids had to add costumes to match the mood.
Can you tell what scary thing my daughter is?
She made a hat and it was all her idea to use Hair Springs to keep it on her head. She said she thought they would hold better than bobby pins.
Use the code SCARYHAIR in the comments when you checkout and I'll include two free black hair springs with any purchase. Code expires Monday night at midnight.

Twist and no shouting
I did it again.
It's like I actually have no intention of really having bangs, but I keep having them trimmed when I get my hair cut, only to promptly let them grow right out...AGAIN! That's what I do every time. It's my pattern.
I've gotten really good at hiding those too long bangs while I'm trying to decided if they will become bangs again, or just regular hair.
Here is the twist I did today.
I just took all of the offending bangs, twisted them to the side and held them in place with one Hair Spring.
I LOVE how much I can do with just one Hair Spring.
What do you like to do when your hair is unruly?
